Our friend celebrating her 15th birthday. She is Mexican-American and the 15th birthday is very important in her family's culture. There is a huge party known as a Quinceañera. The family prepares for years for this event. It is a party but it is also a religious ceremony. It signifies a girl's entry into adulthood and her commitment to God.
